Update from the man who video taped this: oaksmodelrr
No longer an accident waiting to happen
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just visited the site today and the dip has been repaired. Did not get an chance to see a train cross it, will try tomorrow, but it looked much better. They have also added the switch and will be ballasting and tamping for a couple of days to finish. Then they can tackle the out of gauge condition and the torn up rail on the wye. Because the wye is OOS, today the crew took the pair of SD40-2's bracketing one box car down to Norristown and back to turn it, and it only cost CSX 3+ hours of time for the three man crew, plus an extra day's pay each because Norristown is out of their limits.
