Stolen Bell Returned in Knoxville
Not too many times do things get stolen from a piece of history and then returned, but Southern 154 has her bell back that was stolen over a year ago off of the locomotive. Southern 154 is a 1890 2-8-0 that operates for the Three Rivers Rambler in Knoxville, Tennessee. A 54 year old man has been arrested as part of the theft, and he also had several other stolen goods in his garage. How could a 54 year old man lift that bell off the locomotive without causing some kind of damage to himself, the bell, or the locomotive? Even in pieces the weight is very heavy.

That loser didn't steal the bell. More than likely some drugheads stole it and traded it for drugs since he was the local drug dealer. That loser was busted in a drug ring last year and had 40k of stolen items including the bell.

A bell for drugs... very interesting concerning what drugs cost these days. Before ya know it the whole locomotive might as well be stolen...redcrumbox wrote:That loser didn't steal the bell. Yes, but even I don't think he would be that stupid and steal probably one of the most noticeable things to go missing on a locomotive.MQT3001 wrote:Sounds like the work of "cockroach" on YouTube...

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.

The cockroach isn't strong enough to muscle a bell off a locomotive. However it will.be bolted and welded on the locomotive now according to TRR.AMTK55 wrote:You'd be surprised.MQT1223 wrote:Yes, but even I don't think he would be that stupid and steal probably one of the most noticeable things to go missing on a locomotive.MQT3001 wrote:Sounds like the work of "cockroach" on YouTube...

Ummm, why was he still loose? That loser was busted in a drug ring last year and had 40k of stolen items including the bell.
Actually, that bell weighed maybe 60 pounds. They aren't that heavy. But he more than likely bought it or traded it for drugs.

60 pounds? That seems a little bit light, unless you are talking just the bell itself. According to most of the news articles that I have found, the ones that have listed weights have put the bell well over 200 pounds, which is probably including the yoke that it sits in as well.hoborich wrote:Ummm, why was he still loose? That loser was busted in a drug ring last year and had 40k of stolen items including the bell.
