How do I convert MP4 files to something that is playable on window media player and playable in a DVD player when I copy them onto a DVD-R? Youtube converts them so they are playable for that site but I would still like to be able to have them on a DVD.
Thanks ST

You just have to find the right software that converts it into the format you need. Do a Google search and I'm sure you'll find one that works.

MP4 works starting with the Windows 7 version of Microsoft Media Player, and with the windows 7 version of Movie Maker. Vista was just too early if that's what you have

Yes I still have Vista. I will try it out soon once I have a day off work, thank you.

Another option is to get a different player, such as VLC (VLC Portable is a TINY file and works well w/ MP4)alittlevanwerty wrote:Yes I still have Vista. I will try it out soon once I have a day off work, thank you.
