More from the Walter Wilk files.

First up this time out is PM 901 and 1103 on a train at Salem, Michigan on July 22, 1947.

Next we have the interior of Delray tower in Detroit. The calendar on the far wall says
it's September of 1939.

Finally a photo of the Photographer. Here at the Wyoming shops of the Pere Marquette
in the smokebox of 1212. Taken September 8, 1946.

When was the last time you went 'fanning in a tie?
I haven't lost my mind, it's on tape backup here somewhere...

GRHC - you know every night I can imagine he is in front of his computer screen sitting in his underwear swearing profusely and drinking Blatz beer combing the RailRoadFan website for grammatical errors.

A couple more to wrap up the weekend. First is D&TSL mike 27 smoking up the main
at Rockwood, Michigan on March 3, 1948.

Image

This one at Milwaukee Junction has no date however maybe we can get a range
knowing 5406 is taking on coal in front and f-unit 9024 is at the sanding tower with
a matching companion.
