Might play a little with that contrast on 334 and see but, I doubt it.

Re: Two More Rejects for my collection
The one under the signal bridge is awesome and easily fixable with sharpening. The other one, not so much, I think the next thing it would get dinged with after contrast is under-sharpened and then possibly bad cropping.
I think you are cropping your photos down a bit too much which is making your photos soft, I would be great if you had good enough glass and enough mega pixels to pull it off. I have the same problem, you just need to work within your equipments limitations.

Thanks Brent, I have been wanting a photo at the location for sometime. I am still trying to figure out with the Gimp Editing Program how to sharpen. I also might add a tad bit of contrast, no more than than +5 or so.MagnumForce wrote:The one under the signal bridge is awesome and easily fixable with sharpening. Re: Two More Rejects for my collection
First one needs a cropping adjustment along with sharpening. Too tight on the top and too much dead space on the bottom. Second one is a lost cause. Poor cropping and half nose light.

Filters...enhance...sharpen or unsharp mask (my preferred method)
Pretty easy!

Those photos seem a lot better than what you started uploading so keep at it. You'll figure it out sooner than later
