Railpictures.net Challenge Part Deux

Unread post by ~Z~ »

Railohio started this contest for himself back in July 2009, we hopped on the bandwagon and started this in July as well, see this thread: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=14042

Starting Railpictures.net Challenge Part 2 in March 2011. The goal is for each photographer who is sending them shots to try to get one picture accepted every single day(midnight-11:59pm) of March. Be sure to submit earlier in the day as we know they don't always touch their queues at night. If you get one rejected, keep trying until one sneaks through for the day. Just reply to this thread if you are in, and then as you get your photos accepted, just do what Aleks did last time and keep editing your post to include your new pics: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=14042#p100614

Even if you miss a day, try to keep along and double up if need be. Interesting if we can actually get someone to get a photo accepted every single day during March. GLC392 looked like he was going to make it last time, but finally missed a day on the 28th. Save your photos that you submit to railpictures until March, and participate in this challenge. Remember, the photo submitted can be taken any day, not just during the month of March.

There's no real prize or anything, just nice to see what some of you guys have sitting on your backlog of photos.

This challenge really isn't fair any more to newer members of RP. Apparently they only have a limit of two submissions a day. So, if they get two rejections, they are done for the day.

I'm thinking that waiting a couple months would have better results. Its hard to come by a sunny day in January or February.

Same here. Dozens of shots from 2010 and some still from 2009 (a couple of 4449 pics I still need to submit). However, I've been too lazy and unmotivated to submit much lately.

Maybe this will give you the motivation to get your photos in.

You just got a (well deserved) PCA - does that help with your lazy lack of motivation? :P
