been a fun ride with this relic, but just upgraded to the 7D.
I figured when my camera phone had a higher mp than my SLR, it was time to look into other options
looking like this is its last shot.

Just because the phone has more MP, doesn't mean anything really. It all has to do with the size of the pixels on the sensor and sensor size.

Honestly if it's a good camera, anything over 8MP is overkill unless you are planning on having a wall sized print!

MP not withstanding, the 300D is to the 7D as a pinto is to a ferrari
