Looks like just the domain name expired in the last couple days. Site is still live and people have been uploading pics to their albums today. I definitely wouldn't call that picture as proof that the site is officially shut down.
Some domain renewals don't always go smoothly.

https://lookup.icann.org/en shows a lookup for rrpicturearchives.net as a new expiration date of 5/16/25. Safe to say, Tim's website isn't down.

OK, this site has been down for a few weeks now! I have used this site for years and it has had its problems working properly many times! I have not been able to access it now! :( This isn't 2025 yet. Well, it looks like Tim Huemmer is overhauling the site/domain and moving providers. Does anyone know? :?: Well, let's see what happens!!!!!

I saw a screenshot a few days ago of an email sent out from Tim to somebody saying that they had “a worst case scenario database failure”. I didn’t recall anything mentioned as to if the website would come back or not…but it doesn’t sound pretty from the tone used in that email.

Waiting on a new server to be sent into the data center so that files can be transfer, sounds like an ETA of next week

 RRPICTUREARCHIVES is back! But, there are some glitches where all the photos did not transfer! I am looking through my albums and some pictures are missing (corrupt) with the info still there! Now, I am contacting Tim! He states on the Home Page about!

I noticed that some of my albums were impacted much worse than others (seemingly random)...for now I am just going to sit back and let Mr. Huemmer work his magic on fixing things before I return to uploading more images.

I created a new album and uploaded 130 pictures before the end of 2024! RRPIX is much faster and smooth to upload! The best train for the year was the CPKC "Final Spike" steam train I caught in May with "Railfan Gary!" I will upload pix from my second trip at the end of June/July with "Mazon" to catch the return 2816 in Illinois/Iowa! Now, I wasn't able to create huge "Trip Reports" from these trips before the end of 2024, but plan to for the Anniversary of CPKC in April!
