Gotta love "Clouds"

Can someone point out to me where the "clouds" are in this photo?? I mean I understand shadow as the former NYC Springfield Branch is tree lined, but it was 98 degrees and not one cloud in the sky. I appealed asking politely "Where are the said "clouds" in the photo.

I'm guessing its a high sun issue or the shutter was open to long. The sky his that milky cast to it. ie the sky is blown out white.

They've just combined the "poor lighting" and "cloudy" categories together. It is poorly lit, not necessarily due to clouds - in this scenario, it is due to shadows.

Cropping is far too tight as well, but the shadows on the lead loco and being on the wrong side of the tracks as the guys mentioned are good rejection reasons.

For the love of christ...............

JAMES, you are on the wrong side for the light. There are shadows all over the nose. It's unlevel. It's poorly composed and cropped. WHY are you trying to get this on RP? We tell you over and over and you just don't get it. You don't listen!

The picture may need some work but to catch a train on the Mechanicsburg Branch is a nice treat and using CSX power is even better! The picture may not be RP worthy but I like it and I also enjoy the notes you wrote about the scene.

Actually, that scene would have been a whole lot better if it were cloudy. Aside from that, there's really no need for me to repeat the truth that the others have already stated.
