AC44CW

Unread post by EWRice »

Last year I purchased an undecorated sd40 and gave it a once over to make it the one my son wanted for christmas. First one for me, and I was pleased with the results. Now he is asking for another one, and since it was fun, I would like to do it again. My question is, the prototype is listed as an AC44CW, but I am finding AC4400CWs in HO. Is there any big, if any, differences? I am not looking for perfect, just close enough for the decals to fit right, and the vast majority of people to know what it is. Is there other units that share the same shell? I don't need top of the line with dcc or anything, but I do want good detail. Any help is appreciated.

No differences, AC44CW is just an abreviation for AC4400CW :)
