It appears Rapido is going after Big Dawg Originals, a eBay seller of re-detailed and re-cast HO scale shells. I have seen some of BDO's shells and they are impressive.

I got a chop Geep cab from BDO and it looks really good! Looking at getting a couple B30-7AB shells soon. Kind of curious to know how do they know its theirs? I seen a lot of accusations in that thread but no evidence to support the claim

For the guy who designed the molds it would be quite easy to spot his own work. In injection molding there is always compromise of form over function because of the mechanics of how molds and plastics behave and release from the dies.

After working at Dart Container for years I can tell you who made a foam cup even if the lettering is worn off of the mold or if no manufacturer is listed.

When you see things every day it gets easy to spot the little telltale marks that nobody else would ever notice.
What smells like lube oil and diesel.... Oh wait it's just my "Locomotive Breath"
