Re: Logging branch
This layout is very different from your last one, Hogger. Both are awesome!
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

Completely free lanced. Very loosely based on the Keweenaw Central in the beautiful Keweenaw Peninsula of the U.P. of Michigan.MrRail wrote:I like it! Where is the prototype set exactally?
I live east of Holly (east of I-75 actually), about 5 miles west of Ortonville. Visitors are always welcome, stop by and run a train.

I love how you blended the ground textures to the backdrop, Larry. Looks very natural.

That's a bit too much of a drive for me at the moment, being about 10 min out of Grand Rapids in Ada. May I ask where you get most of your engines and cars? I have been debating getting into that scale, but I haven't been able to find many resources.

Re: Logging branch
I know a guy in Maryland that sells the locos/cars at a good price if he has them in stock. Other than that, most came from ebay. Tough to find the stuff at local hobby shops or fleas.MrRail wrote:That's a bit too much of a drive for me at the moment, being about 10 min out of Grand Rapids in Ada. Visitors always welcome. If you (or anyone) is ever going to be in the area, just give me a bit of notice to clean up - always welcome.
