Finally was able to (almost) fix the bent frame on my model of NS 6920 tonight. Turns out that the DCC decoder was getting in the way of the shell sitting all the way down, so I took it out and I'm going to get a N-Scale decoder and put it in the cab so there will be room. Now the bend is down to less than one millimeter, but I may file down the chassis at the rear end a little bit more to see if that helps.

Looks nice, that sag is barely noticeable if at all. :)

What did you use to Do the paint? Might just be the lighting, but the finish looks really choppy in that before/after photo

The clear coat is Model Master Gloss, and it's just the lighting, really harsh light from my flash because I was trying to show how much better the frame looks. There is a little bit of unevenness in the finish on the cab though, I had an incident with my Testors Glue but was able to get almost all of it off, it just left a little bit of roughness on the side. I need to get a can of Semi-Gloss, it should look better after that.

I figured it was either that or you applied the clear coat from too far away. Had that happen before, not fun.
