WTB: Conrail OCS Units, P2K HO Scale

Unread post by TrainWatcher »

Hello gents, need to find 2 more CR OCS units, in the P2K run. No matter on numbering. Been searching eBay and I really am not interested in $80 a unit, so I thought i'd ask around first.

Just re-picked up the same number of the one I sold to you a while back on eBay for under like $44 after shipping, NIB. Just got lucky and found a good deal. Rebuilding our OCS again, have 6 cars painted need to get the decals made up. Keep looking, they come up in auction form sometimes, those $80 ones have been there for a while and should remain there if you decide to go for it in the end.

With how scarce they are $80 is actually a pretty good price. If you don't want to pay that then I guess you won't be getting one.

Not very scarce, there are like 4 up on eBay right now for the 80 price. Recent auctions go down to as low as $32.
So what are you planning on doing with all 3 of the e-8's?

I'm gonna paint them Warbonnet and set them on fire ;)

In all seriousness, need them for my OCS train. Working on building "Boston" and Theatre Car 9

Any luck yet James? Just saw 2 lots in the "sold listings" from just tonight that contained some conrail e8's. One lot was a CR 4021 and a B&O E8 which sold for $47 and change, the other was CR 4020 and the EMD demo E8 which sold for $60. Keep lookin and you'll find one for a deal.
