CMGN Decals

Unread post by GP9R »

I can't seem to locate any of the decals that oaklandcountycustoms did, So I'm going to have some sets made by Highball Graphics. I'm going to be doing a sheet of just the noodle, A set that will do the Grey/Red units(2014, 2001, 2002) and a set made for 5175, I'm also going to do some smaller Noodles that are probably close the N scale size that can be used for the patch job engines or on an N scale engine. I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in some sets to help me offset the cost of each of these.

after doing some more research, I'm going to have to do them in sets that will do, CMGN 2001, 2002, 2014. Another set will do 4065, 5086, and 5492. a set will do 8801-8804, a set for 8902-8905, a set for 5175, a set for 9712, and I might get a set for 4502 done also.

Are these N scale decals?
If so, I'd be interested in at least one of the sets for the 8902-8905. I also might be interested in a set that would do the 2001/2 and 2014.

Right now the plan is HO. I might see if I can get some N scale sets done if there is enough demand for them. I'm still waiting to hear back from Highball Graphics about any of them

There's a guy over your way (Fenton) who does decals as well, SOLIDESIGN. If you can't get what you want from Highball, his work seems to be pretty good. I'm curious how Highball's rates would compare...

I know who you are talking about. But I've seen decals from both people and I think that Highball is higher quality. Highball's rates are right on his website
