Have a bunch of "catches" to build into a video from a trip to Wabash Indiana....BUT came home and while doing my regular chainsaw repair parts hunt, came across this train working in Cortland NY. For what ever reason the lesson is the "impromptu" always seems to work out better than planned. SO Snagged the video and stuck it all together in about 15 minutes.....posted it.
Now I DO have a question. That 3016, is it a sd40t-2? or sd32eco? And what is the real difference.

NYSW 3016 is an SD32ECO that was rebuilt from an SD40T-2. The old 16 cylinder 645 engine is replaced with a 12 cylinder 710 engine, and electrical upgrades and microprocessors are added as well. They are EPA Tier II emissions compliant and offer roughly a 25% savings in fuel over a traditional SD40-2, while making more horsepower. Several railroads have rebuilt older SD40 types and some SD60s into "SD32ECOs".
