Quick X500 Question

Unread post by atrainguy60 »

Maybe this is a stupid question, but when X500 was still running as the last CP train on CSX between 2005 and 2010, was it always the same train/symbol on the CP side, or did CP just randomly send one of their eastbounds over CSX each time? For example, if it were still running today, would it always be let's say 240 just to pick a symbol, or would it be any eastbound including 140, 142, 240, 244, etc., depending on whichever CP chose to send that day?

AFAIK, it was always 242 on the CP side.
