Admin edit: After the vote, meeting is going to be held in Durand on 5/12/18.
Alrighty, time to get voting on when to have the spring meet. FYI, not planning a fall meet, so only this single meetup this year. Poll will run until 4/7 at 10:30pm. Weekend of May 19th is Durand RR days, while May 12th is the day before mothers day. This is a one day meet, but as usual, feel free to come earlier and stay later if you'd like to. I understand Durand isn't the haven for train activity as of late, but is quite central to our railfan population.
Please vote for which day you can make, and vote for both if you are able to make both. Revoting is turned on in case you need to revote.

May 12th also conflicts with the alleged Amtrak Tulip Time Special, and coincidentally, my birthday

Getting married on the 12th. Going to be in Myrtle Beach on the honeymoon on the 19th. Whichever day you guys end up choosing, may it be a beautiful weather day and plenty of train action.
On the bright side, she's allowing me to stop in Hamlet for several hours on the way down to Myrtle Beach.

darn, yet another meet in early May that I can't make due to it being in early May. Oh well.
May 19 would work for me. Not that it matters though.
Besides, Amtrak running EB in the morning on the 5th and 12th, and west bound in the evening. Sunny day = great photo ops!

But no, I don't plan to live stream on facebook or anything like that. Going to try to stay off my phone and just enjoy conversation with others.
