Current Detroit Sub Manifests

Unread post by atrainguy60 »

I know about D735 and D736 and where they run to and from, but I was wondering about the other manifests that have been reported lately. I originally knew of just Q392 and Q399 between Toledo and Detroit. Now I'm seeing posts on a Q394 and Q395, and of a Q511. I was wondering if Q392 and Q399 even still run anymore? Also, is there a counterpart to Q511, and any other manifests running to and from Detroit currently? And also, does anyone know the destinations or origin points of these trains?

D735/D736 are the recently reactivated Rougemere-McGrew trains. One one way, the other the other. Either 6 or 7 days a week. The northeast wye in Plymouth is getting shinier!

The Wiki shows them as running between Rougemere Yard and Walbridge Yard in Toledo now that Stanley is closed. Of course, that's if they still run, since those other 3 trains have been reported. Makes me wonder if they've been replaced.

Q392 and Q399 are no more. Currently you have Q394/Q395 (Detroit to Willard) and Q510/Q511 (Detroit to Cincinatti) for road freights in the Detroit area.

They did away with Q399? That must mean Detroit is always almost full

A Q392 train came of Chicago this Sunday morning, July 2nd,, and went east through Fostoria with about 40 cars, Nearly half of which were CP Rail covered hoppers on the front. Unknown where it was going, Just to Willard or further, or if it has a counterpart yet coming back west. Another new EHH experiment?

Checking further, it has been discovered the new Q392 train out of Chicago is the former Q386. They are also saying Q394-Q395 have already been returned as Toledo to Willard trains instead of Detroit to Willard trains.

Awesome job, florida581! Where would we be without you? I know this is across the state line - but - could you update us as well with what trains are currently operating out of Toledo? (Walbridge Yard)
