Does it have to be paint?
Broad Street in Columbus, OH (taken through my cracked windshield).
I heard a couple of trains on that line when I was nearby, but I wasn't able to catch one. Google's street view did though:

I did one that had only signs, so no it doesn't have to be paint...

Closer view of the "Chesapeake and Ohio" "Pere Marquette" is also visible, especially on the other side.
I outlined the "Chesapeake and Ohio" in red, and the "M" from "Pere Marquette" in blue.
"Ohio Railway" and letters from "Marquette" can be seen in this view.
