If you're talking scenic lines too then the TLEW, CVSR, and there is a RDG painted unit in PA. The Morristown & Erie moves freight with their Alcos in northern NJ as well.
I'm just here to put in time claims and complain

Re: Alcos
The SD70ACes were added to the roster and replaced C420's on their road freight but the locals and yard jobs are still performed with ALCo's...for now.Josh wrote:Weren't the Arkansas Missouri Alcos replaced with SD70ACes? Re: Alcos
Couple more.
Michigan Southern has an RS3? not sure if it is used much.
Napa Valley runs FA-4 carbodies that have been re-engined.
Cuyahoga Valley http://www.cvsr.com/ has several FA units and a C-420 that I know of.
Check out the AlcoDeisel yahoo group they can tell you for sure where any operating unit is at any given time. http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/ALCOdiesel/info The owner of the group puts out a monthly newsletter on the disposition and location of every Alco Diesel ever produced, although there is a subscription rate and I have not gotten it in years.

The Michigan Southern Alcos were cut up almost 2 years ago.

Re: Alcos
Does anyone have any information as to what happened to ex-Lubrizol 8485 that was donated to the Cuyahoga Valley Line (now Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad) around 1990? It was scheduled to be restored to operating status by 1993. Last I saw of it, it had been parked on a spur in Jaite for a few years (1992-1994?), perhaps to be used as parts-only. I don't think it ever ran or was ever restored after being donated to the Cuyahoga Valley Line. They painted it to match the then CVL paint scheme. My best guess it that it was scrapped. Here's a link to a photo of it on Morscher's website:

And an updated photo after the CVL began repainting it into the D&H paint scheme:
