Did you see it in first person or a photo someplace?

We have no record, either visual or written on hand to confirm...it was spotted 10 days ago in Ohio in YN2, not that it could have been repainted since...

Saw it in person 2 days ago in Atlanta.

Well guess I'm pretty glad to have caught 5957 on Labor Day in Fostoria. The video just uploaded a hour ago so it's pretty funny it took me longer to upload it than it did for CSX to repaint it!

With multiple sightings, I think it is safe to say 5957 has gotten the new dip. Over to the YN2 thread for the update

Add CSX 5009 to the list. Trailing unit on a northbound intermodal (Q013?) through Kenessaw, GA about 5 min ago.

I can also confirm 100% (no picture, but I was standing next to it most of the night) 8181 is in fresh boxcar paint and now has A/C.

6961 and 2361 are new YN3 to YN3B repaints.

Also add the 8181, 4408, 2431, 7800 & 2742, which are repaints from YN2, as reported in that thread.

Nice shot and thanks for stealing my one of my railfanning shots, LOL. Should have told me you were coming to Georgia.

8134 is the latest YN3 to YN3B repaint. CSX seems to be aggressively overhauling & repainting their SD40-2 fleet. Even the fairly fresh YN3 paint is getting the brackets. Not sure on these, but there is at least one example where a set of brackets was simply added to an existing YN3 scheme. Not sure how common this is of yet, it is hard to tell in photos.

Is there any possibility that the list could be maintained on an excel sheet that would be accessible? Also, had a rather fresh looking repaint pass by the house today- SD50 8608, solo on a loaded ballast train from Toledo Docks.

The first GEVO repaint, 5250, has been spotted in fresh YN3B, trailing behind a rust bucket SD40-2. http://rrpicturearchives.net/showPictur ... id=3658820

Wonder why 5250 got new paint...looks like more than brackets added. Wreck repair?

I think I'll change the 8019's paint status to "rust"

At the moment, there should be 299 YN3B, 2859 YN3, 1046 YN2 and then one each of YN1, Primer & CR.
