CSX SD60I #8743 on Q389-06 is bound for Selkirk. Marked "retired" on the paperwork and going to Cumberland for storage. Hopefully that doesn't mean CSX is going to be getting rid of the SD60's.

I was reading somewhere recently that the SD60Is have a unique operating software that is specific to the SD60I. It cannot be updated and completely gutting and redoing the units was going to be very costly. Wouldn't surprise me if CSX simply retires their fleet, not sure what NS will do with theirs.

Not the original grey ghost, (that would be the L&N) but I remember when the
first 7500"s came out all grey. They are my favorites and I will miss them.
Next you are going to tell me the SD-50's are endangered.
