Hi,

My father is the author, and I'm helping him out with the publishing. He currently has 5 volumes out of 'Chronicles of a Detroit Railfan,' and plans to release three more (for a grand total of 8 volumes) by the end of the year. He also has a narrative book 'Train Madness' which is a compilation of stories (mostly humorous) gathered through years of train watching, and also another memoir about building a HO scale model railroad (called Model Train Madness).

One can buy them in bulk on eBay at http://tinyurl.com/ka6y2p2, or individually from amazon at http://www.amazon.com/Byron-Babbish/e/B00J1UU7NK

These look interesting...can anyone tell me how much of the "Conrail in Michigan" volume includes material from outside southeast MI?

Hi Ben,

The Conrail book largely covers Southeast Michigan but has some material from Ann Arbor, White Pigeon, Jackson, Lansing, Sterling Heights and has large sections on Windsor and Canada as well as some Toledo material. It is one of the larger books that the author has published, weighing in at 196 pages.

Some more information can be found at http://byronbabbish.com/product/railfan ... -michigan/.
