Re: C&O Old Main in Flint
The last active downtown customer on the old C&O main was Dover and Company on Grand Traverse Street. They received lumber for garage doors. The Atlas Warehouse also used rail up to near the end. They had their own lead that ran parallel to the Flint River. I don't know what they shipped or receive...

C&O Old Main in Flint
I'm curious if anyone has any knowledge of customers that were located along the southern portion of the old C&O main from Atwood Jct. to south of downtown. I know of a couple, but info about this line is hard to come by.

Re: Grayling and Gaylord
So with the discussion of the energy place going in up in Gaylord, it got me wondering, what is the current customer list on the Bay City to Gaylord line? See this listing (I just recently organized them by subdivision). It should be fairly accurate. http://railroadfan.com/wiki/index.php/Lake_State...

Re: Monroe Question
The asphalt storage tanks and steel mill don't receive rail service any more that I know of. There is a small windmill plant next to the steel plant that has a spur and possibly ships using CN Michigan Paving and Materials (the asphalt place) still uses rail. I remember seeing a photo on the Port o...

Monroe Question
Is there more than one railroad that serves the Port of Monroe? I know NS has the coal contract for DTE, but I was curious if maybe CN served any of the other industries along with NS.

Re: Lapeer Industrial Interchange
I think L514 does it now, Because I've seen him come into flint with manifest cars up front and he doesn't work Pontiac or Durand L533 does it once or twice a week. It hasn't been 501/500 recently or 514. I though I saw someone else on hear saying it was L533, but I couldn't find the post. Thanks.

Re: Monroe and River Rouge Power Plants
Ok, so it's NS that has the contract, not CN. The wiki said that the Monroe plant was jointly served by NS and CN, so I was going off of that as I'm not too familiar with the rails in that area. Thanks guys.

Re: LSRC Grain Customers
Standish is on the Mackinaw Line even though it hasn't gone to Mackinaw since 1984 Elevators in Auburn still ship by rail but on HESR Elevator in Turner probably doesn't ship by rail anymore but if it does maybe a few carload of fertilizer would be my guess Couple questions about the LSRC: 1. Couple questions about the LSRC:
1. What line is the Anderson's elevator in Standish located on?
2. Are the elevators in Auburn and Turner active customers?

CN Locals on the Flint Sub
I've been out of the loop for awhile, so I apologize if I ask a question that has an obvious answer.
What locals run on the Flint Sub between Lansing and Port Huron? I know of 501 and 502. Does L500 still work out of Flint? Thanks in advance.
