At least they are a bit further back from the 'yellow line' than the video-grapher. Practice Safe CSX Where do you figure. The one chick had her foot on and even over the yellow line most of the time she was walking. Looking at the camera angle when he was zoomed all the way out, at most he was aro...

IIRC it went somewhere to get fixed, and it got released back into the general pool. I had it comming south on Q399 from Detroit.

Re: CP on CN Flint Sub?
Well CSXT700, when ever I operated H534 or H535 over the Flint Sub., I usually visited all the sidings between Port Huron and Battle Creek as well as run the Industrial at Lansing and Flint as well as sit as Van Slyke waiting for others doing work at Flint. It was not a high priority train. Ok let ...

Re: CP on CN Flint Sub?
What caused CP to stop using CN? Enough room on NS? HH boot them out? Not Quite...but this pair of CP trains would always get royally screwed when they traversed the GTW, like having to switch Durand the night I was at the Depot..And moving CP trains to the NS had something to do with it too.. How ...

Re: CSX Defiance Local Question
This is not a local train. It is a yard job. Yard Jobs start with Y, and then the number varies. First number is for shift. 1 for first, 2 for second, 3 for third. The last two numbers have to do with area of the yard, or surrounding areas where the job works. For example we had in Saginaw the main ...

Fine....I'll rephrase.....paved the way west. It wasn't the first, it wasn't the most powerful, but it was important. EPIC FAIL again. Did you even read what I wrote in the very first respons. If you did, then you dont know your history. They (UP) paved there way INTO the west but not THE west. The...

One would leave Chicago and go to Toronto every day, the other would leave Toronto every day and head to Chicago. Usualy if they were on time, they would meet ...

Too expensive. Will you accept $25? :P How about I decide how much the event is worth and give him a fitting amount afterwards? $65 + the gas to get down there + a night's stay in a hotel room. Yeah, I don't think so, sorry. Good luck with the event James, but I can't see this being worth the...

Re: ns heritage units: who has seen them and who hasn't
Only problem with the NS app, is the person's using its ability to know what the heck they are talking about. Do they actually know where they are? Do they actually know what line they are on. Do they know the direction. Do they actually know the train symbol. ECT. We know how well most railfans are...
