They are selling the railroad. It's been up for sale for a long time.

Great Lakes Central north through Mount Pleasant at 1330 GLC 396 leading GLC 398 2 plastics hoppers 2 tanks 1 hopper 3 wood chip hoppers 9 cement hoppers 10 loaded tie gondolas 2 LPG tanks 1 lumber load 4 LPG tanks 34 total So a run to tc tomorrow or Wednesday with the other centerbeam and Gons.

Dose anyone know what's happening with beacon?

A freind of mine said he got stopped by a train in TC with 3 cars. I didn't know they came with 3 cars???!!!??? maybe beacon and some lumber.

There is a crossbuck down in Grawn (maybe a car hit it) and there is fresh dirt like they had trucks in grawn working. But the crossbuck look like a temporary one!?!? Cherry growers is going bankrupt I think. So maybe the line is being torn out.

As for the Traverse City traffic...Amerhart is/has opened a location in Grand Rapids and I believe is along the Grand Elk. With this new location, I wonder if some of the loads that would have gone up to TC are now going to GR? Also, I believe only 3 hoppers were delivered/filled at Beacon Recyclin...
