For those who frequented Fostoria you probably met Ed. He was a tower operator all over the NW, Always friendly, always helping.
He will be miss at the park and in our life.

Got a real nice Athearn RTR SD40-2 CP Expo shell at Lansing, but couldn't find a chassis, thanks to those who know, the 40 , 45 38 do not fit.. so if you have one with a odd roadname , either DC or DCClet me know. dave j

talked with a old friend. he said they got 2 switch's, pulled about 5 cars each shift.
but on the plastic cars maybe 1 or 2 a week,, seemed like we used a lot more than 100 tons in a week, but he was sure about it,
maybe a respot on plastic cars but not like i thought 5 a week,,

I remember the tracks always full about 2 cars at the unloading rack, and 5 or more on the siding. Now you made me curious also as with the number of molds we must have went thru more than two cars a day, We didn’t have a trackmobile, but maybe they had another unloading rack out of site, it was all...

I worked at Sheldon road in 1999, we shipped rail to Louisville plant for F250 and to Birmingham plant by rail it was about 10 loads a day. The radiators went by truck to focus and mustang plants. never did hear what happened to the plant,but we were always in competition with the Connersville plant...
