Toledo to Stony Ridge, Ohio
I was tracing the line extending from Toledo to where the rails are cut at Stony Ridge, Ohio. It looks as if the line used to run to Fostoria. The rails seem to end just south of route 20/23 in Stony Ridge. Any history as to why the line ends where it does? Any photos or video of trains running to S...

Re: Napoleon, Defiance and Western: The Beginning
Thank you both. I always drove past that crossing when I went to BGSU and wondered if it was ever used. I love seeing low traffic rails back to full use, maybe that potential new plant customer could make that happen.

Re: Napoleon, Defiance and Western: The Beginning
Are there any video clips of trains crossing route 24/6 in Napoleon?

Isn't there a spur that's serviced just south of Cecil along the line? I think Lafarge Cement. Or has that been offline?

Re: Napoleon, Defiance and Western: The Beginning
Magnum: Is the new plant that may be built east of 24 going to be built along the tracks? I'm assuming this would be between Napoleon and Liberty Center.

Re: Napoleon, Defiance and Western: The Beginning
Magnum: That would be awesome if a new customer came on-line. Would that create a reason to make an official interchange with the I&O?

Re: Napoleon, Defiance and Western: The Beginning
Do the tracks still exist in Liberty Center? I've seen a few comments on the MAW Youtube videos that have said the rails were cut at all crossings and removed. Also, do the signals work at the Route 24/6 crossing in Napoleon? I know the crossing is listed as "Exempt". Thanks.

Re: Toledo terminal
I had asked this same question on another site and was told that the line is only serviced to just south of Airport Highway (route 2) as there's a customer siding about 500 feet south of Airport Hwy still in use. And by the looks of Google Maps (which must have just been updated) you can see that Ai...

That's too bad about Liberty Center. Are there plans to create an interchange with the I&O Railroad just west of Liberty Center?

Re: Napoleon, Defiance and Western: The Beginning
Did CSX ever re-install the diamond at Defiance? I saw a Toledo Blade article where it was ripped out without permission when MAW owned it. According to Google Maps it's still out. But I've seen pics online of trains at Woodburn so I'm assuming it's re-installed. Also are there plans to re-service t...
