The orange switcher is a GE85 tonner. It has been modified as seen in this picture below: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1610657 . Very good observation! I never thought of it. Like I said they have been up since late last year early this year and I heard that originally they were slated to be cut over in June.

They are replacing all the signals for both the C&O and NS along with the westbound on the NYC. All are in place just waiting to be cut over.
