Re: B&O CPLs on the Toledo Sub.
Thanks! When I lived in Dayton I went to Cincinnati about once a week and besides Hamilton there were very few left. I know nothing here in Piqua looks anywhere close to being replaced. The only one is the southbound signal at North Tipp and the intermediates.

Re: B&O CPLs on the Toledo Sub.
Doe anyone know of any that are planned to be replaced soon? The last time I was in Cincinnati it appeared that the one in Wyoming was about to be replaced. Has it been? Any help would be uappreciated. Yes the CPL at Wyoming has been replaced. Glendale too. Thanks. Are they slowly working their way...

Re: Nickel Plate 901
If that's the case shouldn't it be NKPX since it is non railroad like the B&O Museum is BOMX.IORY_fan wrote:Incorrect NKP 901 is officially reporting marked NKP, friend who works for CNRY(and who was apart of the restoration) told me that NKP historical society owns the right to NKP marking.

Thanks, Brent!MagnumForce wrote:765 is referred to as NKP 765 on the radio but in reality is "RPCX" which are also used on private cars and things of that sort.
Now I am almost positive 901 is CNRY for Cincinnati Railway.

Re: Amtrak threatens to move their Heavy Repair facility
My two cents: At work I pay for my lunch but once a week in a meeting I get a free lunch. I don't mind buying my lunch but I will take the free one any time! So if Amtrak can get a "free lunch" or in their case a free hospital train, more power to them.

CSX OCS
I went to down to Troy to get some pictures of the CSX OCS coming across the Great Miami Bridge, however due to time constraints and CSX Q366 busting a knuckle, I drove down to Tipp City where it was parked to get some shots. Re: Old Lines
None make sense which is why they don't exist. I am just trying to think outside the box so to speak. Take my Panhandle example, while yes my suggestion would make sense in a vacuum of trying to divert some traffic off of busy tracks for the volume of traffic that could be diverted it is not econom...
Old Lines
Which of the following three lines would possibly make sense in the current rail map today? 1. Panhandle between Columbus and Chicago. Personally wouldn't see much use for that except routing a few trains off the CSX between Fostoria and Chicago or the NS between Bellevue/Sandusky and Toledo. 2. Cin...
