We sure could use some rail traffic here in TC to shine up the rusting tracks. I can get a look trackside on my way to a essential destination if they come.

Building materials loads will fall right off the cliff until later this summer. Nobody is going to be constructing homes or buildings right now. Not true, at least here in Traverse City. My family is trying to replace a home that burned down last year and contractors are as busy as ever puting quit...

No train yesterday, but one today. Those two box cars have been there over a year. There were also (as of yesterday) 2 gons loaded with scrap at Beacon, and an empty center beam at Amerhart.

I wonder why they are just sitting on the main. Are they to be scrapped or maybe used for storage?

Henry, one was a beat up blue car with small TSBY markings, the other was a sort of orange/brown, but couldn't see the markings.

Well they must have been up here in TC today. I didn't see them but there was sand pushed up out of the flange guides at both Airport rd. crossings. There were two box cars on the main in front of Beacon salvage, maybe to be scrapped.

Are there any cars for T.C. sitting in Cadillac? I have an auto now and get some rail fanning in again.

Looks like a northern run out of Cadillac today. Not sure if TC or Petoskey, they were gone before I got in town. Thanks for the heads up. I went down to the tracks about 2pm, didn't see a train but at the 5 mile rd. crossing in TC there are fresh tracks in the snow. Maybe they are still in William...

They were up here sometime Friday. I saw fresh tracks at the Holiday Rd. crossing. No chance to catch them till I get my own car, maybe next month.

A HyRailer was up here in Traverse City this morning. I saw them a little East of the depot along Parsons rd. around 10:30. Maybe because of the recent derailments they are watching for ice etc. that puts the trains on the ground.

I have a bowl of Kellogs raisin bran every morning. I like ie a bit better than Post and hope it stays around.

I live just a mile past the Holiday Rd. crossing, and go over the tracks several times a week. The rails on the Williamsburg sub are shiny and must have been used recently.

I see that the new ties along river road have been installed and the old ones now litter the ROW. Looks like about every third tie or so into TC were changed out. Sorry no pictures since I have to depend on my wife to drive me around and she is NOT a rail fan. Maybe some of you saw this operation an...
