Found it! It's what is now the Thirlby Automotive North on E. Eight Street at the northwest corner of Lake Avenue in Traverse City, Grand Traverse County. In Pixl's shot, it looking south with E. Eight Street on the other side of the building.

That looks like revenue freight too me. It doesn't look like a B&B, dinner or scenic excursion. :? They also store cars. Yes, they stored cars including two nice looking Wabash Railway F diesel locomotives and a cool looking GN F diesel locomotive all at the south end of the Wisconsin Great Norther...
