I will be staying near the Marquette Rail wye just outside of Ludington Yard and was wondering if I could see any action from Thursday to Sunday?

Not that I know of, a few weeks ago they had two Amtrak Dash-8s with some ballast cars there, but they have left by now. That's my last sighting, and only sighting except for a ballast maintainer. I think the passenger cars were taken out a few years ago.

Just a heads up NS 420, coke loads, has NS 8025 on it. And NS 256, Triple Crown, has 8103 on it as well

C&IM SD20 #18 is sitting in Marquette Rail Ludington Yard. Didn't know why it was there, but it's one of the last in original paint.

I've been researching the GR area lately and this was all I can find

I will be going up to ludington this weekend and wondered if anyone knows when the Marquette rail runs up there? The only place I've seen them run is on the Mansitee swing bridge and would like to see them somewhere else.

Peter, should be about 3:30 for Ann Arbor if it makes normal schedule time. The question seems to be - Will the new engine be leading? Do you know on Tuesday what time the train with the demonstrator unit would be at Ann Arbor? Also, I was told from Siemens employees that the charger will not lead ...

So if I was going Monday, May 1st to see the demo units, what time would it be going through Wayne? If it will even to through Wayne... I'm pretty excited to see something new on the Michigan Line!!
