I was in Lancaster and I wondered what happened to the line and what the other active one was.

Who runs this line and theirs an old rail grade along the highway coming into Lancaster I think highway is state route 22. The rail looks like it's been pulled many years ago.

You never know. Time will tell

Just figured I'd put that up for all you know it alls to see what you would say.

Heard from a group of NS guys they don't want to rip the rails up. NS wants a short rail to haul on the line according to what they said that's why it's not gone yet. They said they high rail it.

I talked to a man today who works in the Portsmouth yard. I asked about the peavine and he said it was already sold off. I asked for scrap or another railroad and he said he wasn't sure yet. But for sure no longer N.S. Rail line

I'm going to download a new video of this line today the east end of it. Called M.P. 97-96. It's like 7 minutes.

i film this section all the time. i do the signals, railbed slip at rushtown ,crossings, and all i can film of it.

I film lots of videos of the pevine east end. Mostly because I live very close being in scioto county. I try to film many new places of the track before the day comes they remove it. I also revisit some places of the rails to do updates. N.S. Still does trim the trees off the main line. I'm guessing...
