Lift-out/Dropdown/Duckunder?
It looks like you have a lift-out to access the inside of the donut. Could you post some closeups of your benchwork? I've expanded my U to a donut and while I'm still limber enough to duck under, I imagine I'll put in a lift-out or similar eventually. Thanks!

Galesburg?
Looks like I'm going to have 2-4 hours to kill in Galesburg later this month.
Any suggestions for getting the biggest bang for the buck (and not getting arrested ) while railfanning there? I've never made it to RR Days and I don't know the area.
Thanks!

An...

Batavia switching?
Anybody know when / how often the BNSF Batavia branch is switched? (Maybe it's actually the West Chicago branch, but BN severed the connection to the UP in WeGo years ago and took up the rails.)
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: busiest freight route into chicago
I got to spend 30 minutes in downtown Wheaton on UP's mainline....8 trains in 30 minutes....yes, I'll still vote for this mainline as the busiest.... Frankly, I don't know which is busiest, but I live a few minutes away from both the BNSF and UP lines (and close to the CN ex-EJE) and I've seen peri...
