Over on the Midland Sub for HESR, there also appears to be in Auburn in which an ADM facility along with a Ittner bean and the andersons the latter of which seems to be only active customer at this time.The dow plant is at the end of the line for them. Guessing this means that trains will be originating out of the Bay City/Saginaw area then? No need to keep a geep in the house at Alma. Well lets start with the agri traffic on the line and well start with ethanol plant in Caro and the sugar plant there too. tttleshe shuttles of ddg and ethanol should keep them very busy. The new current yard staging all the traffic is called Konrad. At the very west end of Konrad is where the two railroads used to meet was called Fayne. The old yard towards town was called the Handy Track and the other old yard with the Pennsy and the B&O is called Potter.

Ok that one cn train train mentioned earlier was actually an ns train. that cn . L585 is now terminating at melvindale yard on ns, however there is still cn trains that terminate/originate at flat rock, that go to/come from other points on the cn system. Yes what your seeing is the rebirth of the little yard that served as an exchange or swap yard all those years ago with the rebuilding of the yard. Most of stub tracks were so bad for those years the iory put them out of service and along with relaying track for the part that ns or gtw tore out in 1...

Right by Millbocker Road where the site of a Georgia pacific plant was closed and demolished long ago.
