Looks like the 2nd logan stone train has came an turned around for the year so far. They unloaded yesterday and I did not see them this afternoon. Between them and Keynes mill it has been very busy down here this spring.

Thanks for the info. I figured the stone train would be running before long. Lots of action this week on the logan sub!

Is Metamora up by lake erie? Is it owned by Keynes mill?

Drove by Keynes mill and saw a bunch of grain cars. They have been switching 15 or so out at a time for them this week. Also saw several box cars don't know what they were doing on the logan sub. Usually smeads only gets a few at a time.

I haven't seen Keynes mill take any grain cars for about a month wonder what is going on? Seems like they usually get cars in weekly. Whats going on up at Anchor hocking?

I know they are refurbishing a old steam locomotive wonder if that is what is coming?! I saw they had cleared out that section of track I thought maybe they were needing more track space to hold cars. Let me know if you here when the shipment is coming for hocking valley rr.

Anyone know how many cars were on logan stone train this run? Looked like more than the normal 60.

I drove by this afternoon and it looked like it must have happened about 300 yards before the stone plant near front street. They had a small machine moving a single car down the track. Looked like they had everything back on the track. There was a bunch of contractors down by the train shop. I hear...

Seems like they have finally figured out how to get quick turnarounds on the stone train they have been coming in every other week.

The logan stone train was unloading today. It had a new unit with it that I have never seen before 6227 and it had HLCX wrote on it. It was gray and pretty rough looking. Anybody know where it came from? 4030 was also along.

Drove by on 33 and saw the 4030 and another unit hooked up with it. I could not catch the number but it look pretty rough and I have never seen it down here before. Wonder why they have the big units working the grain and sand cars?

The 4030 and the 4070 brought the logan stone train down sometime over the weekend and unloaded today. That is the first time I have see the 4030 down in a long time. Looked like there was about 15 grain cars at Keynes mill, and 4 or 5 at GE. Wonder if they came down on the stone train or if another...

Yeah I haven't seen it in a long time. I usually try to catch it when it comes to town. Lately the 4070 and the 9500 have been bringing them down. I would like to be up to enterprise when the stone train comes down to catch it go by, but I always miss it.

Looks like the logan stone train has come and gone this week. They picked up the other 4 stone cars that were sitting outside the shop. Seems like Keynes mill has had more cars coming in than normal in the last few weeks.

The 4070 and 9500 brought the stone train to logan today. Looked like the cars were the ones they brought down last year instead of the new ones they bought from Georgia power.
