To be fair, if you don't look close at the squared off 9 in the units number, it can look like an 8.

Mopacs SD40's ended at 3089. The first SD40-2 was 3090.

The BN 7306 was born as Mopac 3081 and had the dynamics added when it was rebuilt for BN use. The Mopac SD40-2 pic is probably the 3091, which was an early SD40-2.

Just look how long it took Monroe to get their underpass. Politics, sucking as it does won't get anything done for a long while. HEY, how about using the money to fix the roads? Out here in Oregon, most UP and BNSF trains on the former SP Cascade main run DPU. Big help in the winter when the air just seems to want to leak from everywhere when you have another air compressor at the rear of the train.
