I know one former Mayor of Cincinnati that wrote checks to hookers.
I never knew one that did.

Re: Kenton Ohio Older Train Footage
None that I've ever seen. There's a few pictures in "A sampling of the Penn Central" book. A few random pics of the EL pop up from time to time. Growing up in town in the 60's-80's these was plenty of action back in the day.

Re: Napoleon, Defiance and Western: The Definitive Thread
According to Google Earth, there is an existing old rail bed going northeast from Cecil. Three thousand feet of new track gets it nicely up to the county road with room to spare. I imagine rehabbing the old rail bed would be cheaper than building new. There is also a siding east of Cecil that is nea...

"The have been updating the tracks on this line but it is hard to tell." So what explains the pile of crap ties that have been replaced and the pile of empty spike buckets? Not once did it appear to me that something was going to derail. Why do people ruin their own videos by making such unfounded ...

You have any pictures of this crossing? There were 3 crossings on St rt 68 thru town. Northside of town was the PC (Big Four), middle of town was the PC (T&OC) and the Southside of town was the Erie/Erie Lackawanna.

There was a post in Yard Limits about a new transloading yard being built on the East side of Ft Wayne for the movement of GM trucks on the CF&E. Anyone know if this true or have more details? Thanks, Ken

I think the train cou...
