I haven’t been to Dumont Creek or Millgrove. My hunch is that all you might find are footings of the trestle, just like Bear Creek.

J T - Great shot. This was taken from very near the site of my great grandfather's sawmill, from over 100 years ago. I've got a soft spot in my heart for this place.

The old PM ROW south of Dog Life paralleled M-40 on the east side. I've never known of any rail service to Hamilton Block.

The Bear Creek trestle is gone. I was back there, east of Dunningville, about 7 years ago. Pet Life began as Dog Life. My grandfather worked in the plant. CSX Q327 tonight had seven double decker passenger cars at the end of its consist (February 1). Same cars?
Word was they were headed for Nashville, TN.
