When did Y121 go to Grand Rapids? I watched it come back into Zeeland (long hood forward by the way) but I didn't know when it went east

drove by Vandenbosch siding in Zeeland and I see Robinson Crane has a huge load by the siding...must be waiting for a depressed center flat car? seems like they loaded one of these a couple years back here too.

On the move finally.....

I got cold and stopped watching and went home, but if you look at the photo of the cars that separated....
right at Jefferson Street....you wonder if those kids were still around and pulled something....the couplers didn't break....they just uncoupled....

was watching that go through Zeeland.....there were three kids hanging around near Jefferson that started running from the area after he stopped.....it seemed odd to me at the time, but now I think i know why they were running......

here is a screen shot of it yesterday going through Griffith, IN. Today there was a train with TWO GT engines still in blue

3069 on M327 has a ditch light out on the engineer side.....and I wouldn't be surprised if he sets off the detector somewhere....there was a tank car near the end that was making a heck of noise and after it passed you could smell something burning.

For you fallen flags folks, 327 has a really nice Soo Line hopper about 1/2 way into the train....followed by some old CP "Pacman" logos on several cars.

that doesn't surprise me about L301...when he was on his way into Zeeland I could walk faster than he was going even though it sounded like he was running wide open.....

what I assume was L301 just went through Zeeland headed west...single engine...66 cars....at a crawl trying to get up the hill into town....

2 BNSF Engines just went light through Zeeland headed west....reminded me of the good ole days when the helpers had to run to GR to fuel up....

Technically that is not a generating station in Zeeland , but a substation.

The flat car in Zeeland is being loaded right now. Erickson has a huge crane there getting ready to put a very large transformer on it. There were so many trucks there I couldn't get in for a photo

what a mess in Zeeland....the engines and two cars are just west of Centennial street...the tank car is in the middle of the road crossing with a small crane to pick up the car...the rest of the train is just east of the feed mill....the intersection at Washington and Fairview has got all the driver...
