Good to know you guys will have more business. Good luck with Tri-State, they can be a very demanding company in my experience.

Re: IORY Customer Lists & Locomotive Roster
In Springfield, both Topre and Cohen Recycling use the same transload for their scrap shipments. Not sure about a steel transload overat Junction but I do know they load argon gas? and other liquids onto tanks. The place in Springfield that gets loads of refrigerant gas is Superior Carriers and it’...

Re: IORY Customer Lists & Locomotive Roster
Ah yes, I forgot the 2001/2002, probably because they’re worthless. The 2342 is over on the CF&E last I knew.

Re: IORY Customer Lists & Locomotive Roster
Yikes. I'm gonna stick with the DT&I North/Middle here because that's what I know best. No interchange with NS in Delta, nor is their interchange with CSX in Hamler, and lastly no interchange in Leipsic with either NS/CSX. As for customers... Add MetalX in Delta. Moving south, no service to Poet at ...

Re: IORY Michigan Operations
Two Detroit-Cinncy trains each way and one Detroit-Lima Turn per day. One Cinncy train was mostly Ford traffic and the other GM. The GM traffic stopped around 2006 and Ford around 2011. Back in 1997 and 1998 used to spend alot of time in Carleton and Flat Rock much busier back then at least three I...

Re: IORY Michigan Operations
Regarding interchange locations, if I recall correctly, doesn't IORY occasionally interchange with ADBF at Riga, with cars sometimes stored on the siding at Petersburg? And CN does not interchange with AA at DIANN, right? Only in Toledo (with freight moved between Lang Yard and Ottawa Yard), right?...

Re: IORY Michigan Operations
CN still runs 1 train each direction from Flat Rock to Diann and onto Toledo via the AA IIRC, which is why they have retained ownership in my opinion. Wait, so CN runs a daily train on the AA? Or am I misreading this? Back and forth between Toledo and DIANN....Its the 585 that runs to Alexis and ge...

If by “frequent” you mean “maybe 2-3 times a month” then sure.arty flowers wrote:There is still frequent interchange with the Annie
If by “a lot” you mean roughly 100 loads in the last 2+ years, then sure.and theres been a lot of grain traffic being exchanged to CN at Flat Rock to take to Quebec.

True.
False. The lead to Ford is now the "Luckey Extension" and everything beyond the first switch north of Bible is unused and out of service.arty flowers wrote:as they all are being used as a transload.

Re: IORY South End Part Five
Wrong. IORY/NOKL cars are in fertilizer service along with some CRGX and PRAX cars. Loaded on the CIND and interchanged to AA, though I don't know where they go from there. Every now and then we get CSXT cars out of Cincy for the AA as well.

Sand would be a new one to me. We give them loads of fertilizer, and we'll get wheat off the GLC from them whenever Siemer orders it. Every now and then a load of lumber or plastic. Most of us wish that interchange would die completely.

Re: Indiana Northeastern RR Trip August 3, 2018
Also, I think that is 2nd 1602. IIRC the first was a GP7 of RDG heritage that was acquired in 1976 by the original HCRC. I show the two ex-GN GP9's acquired in 1986 by HCRC. 1601 is the former Reading GP7. The 1602 is the only active former GN GP9, 1770 has been dead for awhile. The 5903 (ex-1603) ...

CN Flat Rock Sub Changes
Switches at both ends of Diann and Maybee sidings have been removed. South Diann switch was moved north of Gloff Road, and I believe is there to be used as a bad order set out if needed. Signal suspension started 1/2/18 at 10:30. North Diann to Carleton is all dark and all DT&I signals removed from ...
