I know where the tracks run in Lansing and I know what to expect from CN. What I am nearly clueless on is what to expect from NS and CSX. If anyone can tell me what times might be best for NS and CSX action and about how many trains per day for either, it would be apperciated.

The Santa train will start running this Friday from Owosso to the Saginaw County Fairgrounds. Trips are four hours. Trips begin at 4pm on Friday 11/24, and will continue each Saturday and Sunday, departing Owosso at 10 am and 4 pm, until Sunday 12/17.

I want to buy the property just the other side of the tracks from the station in Durand where the abandoned building sits near the high wye. I would build a small hotel/restaurant with second story rooms having balconies facing the tracks and a lounge above the restaurant.
