The CN Train is now CN L585 both ways, and almost always has NS power on it. The SB runs in the early morning (unless there are delays) and the NB runs up in the late morning to mid-day timeframe.

Secondly in a past post about Ithaca's planned ethanol plant I believe, mention was made about a run through grain train for GLC over Watco/AA rails to Toledo. Why would GLC do such a thing? So AA could free up power to use elsewhere? And if so, would it be AA crews on their territory or an extra G...

The info I have is more along the lines of it being old and beat up, as it gets abused a lot in operation. (and it could start brush fires along the right of way, too)

Yeah, they repaired it and put it back in service.. It wouldn't of been on that train if it wasn't.

A GP35 being repainted in to the orange AA scheme won't happen unless they work out something with Watco, who owns the rights.

EJ&E 656 is sitting on the north end of CN's Lang Yard, solo and facing south.

The AA Road Train runs runs Monday-Friday, usually NB over night and back SB the next morning. They can run extras on the weekends for both autoracks and grain. I managed to catch the motorcar excursion that ran on the AA this past Sunday, it caught me off guard at first when I heard the news in the morning about this happening.
