That is interesting. This terminal will be located in the vicinity of the proposed international airport to be built between Peotone and Beecher, the new Illiana expressway and the GLBT proposed Manteno railport.

That really adds to my theory. ..... then he didn't pace himself enough to leave a big enough space for the trailer to fully clear the crossing. I'm not sure how your comment relates to the accident. Did you look at the photos? The trailer wasn't hit. http://www.livetrucking.com/wp-content/uploads/...

Is I-90 lower than the through truss? It is interesting to note the beams lead away from center. Bridgehunters has it listed as a Pratt. The through truss portion is Howe.

You folks continually amaze me to no end. And yes the problems are real but the track isn't going to anyone else. 98% of you have never worked on a railroad, never worked a freight in your lives and never read a union agreement. People are doing mandated federal tests and examinations and its a sur...

Re: New Walmart To Use Rail Service in Kalkaska
WM has built many DC's and it still not enough. I wont mention any names, but WM acquired an old trucking terminal to break down inbound loads, and it only 50 miles from a major DC. Its all about logistics. To build a DC in the left hand corner of northern MI just to re-ship made-in-china products s...

I would say some of you are correct. The autopsy showed that they likely died from being hit by a train. Under ordinary conditions crows seldom exceed 20 to 30 mph speed in flight with short bursts attaining 60 mph. 60 is not 79. Its a shame the woman isn't smart and intelligent like a crow. Nothing...

Now with Buffett watching closely I would say he may put a bid in for NS. heypal6878, let the bidding begin. If CSX ever decides to connect the "stub end" to the mainline, Jacobs is in the catbird seat. Currently there are a handful of properties between the "stub end" and CSX main. Some if not all of the properties have changed ownership since the local opposition back in 2000?

Re: Man arrested for charging iPhone on Train
I understand the costs, but the time spent going after somebody for a few cents is ridiculous. If it is about saving money, you go about it the cheapest way. If that means some people get away with it, then that's fine. Good approach to crime. So I shoplift, as long as it isn't that much, it's ok. ...
