The little bit I recall about Delta Yard is that in the early 1980's it was still a yard but not really used. The Exposition Spur local was based out of it but probably just to pick up its train. Looks like this Avon hump closer has been pushed a little further to closing the entire yard. As i'm told by a very close friend that has worked there for last 30 years.

OK Thanks, for that information. Did PC and CR use this yard for local switching crews? Also how did this yard get it's stock of cars for local switching? Is there a CR symbol for this yard?

Thanks Conraildetroit. Were does the supply of cars come from for Tecumseh Yard to switch the mill and Chem plant? In the Conrail days were there ever direct heavy freights off of the Detroit line onto the marsh track for the yard / mill, can they support this?

Detroit line at "CP-YD", Looking for information on what the Marsh running track was used for and Tecumseh yard in Ecorse, MI? I am looking at an old Conrail ZTS map and looks like Great Lakes steel, Detroit Edison power. If someone can elaborate on the history and how it is used now? Please?

Looking at Google maps I see were the south shore comes threw the "BAILLY WYE" in Burns Harbor, Indiana. I see were that leads into the Bailly NIPSCO Generation station. Just a little further east I see a track lead into the right into a small yard or two. That yard continues south west towards CP-4...
