With this event and the two times I was watching P370 (yes people actually do watch Amtrak), I continue to be amused by the actions and problems of CSX. I suppose it is just a matter of time unil the line gets a signal upgrade or gets sold....

After you left, CSX had another power/signal problem at Pleasant Street, Plaster Creek Interlockers. A NS train was stuck on the bridge while Q327-27 was sitting at the home signal at Pleasant Street. I know that they were having power (voltage) issues a few weeks back in that area. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if the stop gap solution from last week, has failed. At that point the switch at the top of the wye was not an issue.

Does anyone have more information on the power outage that affected the Pleasant Street/Sunnyside Interlocker around 10pm? I know Q334 used a few EC-1 forms to get through the limits and threw the necessary switches by hand. By the time the following P370 came through the power was back on. She arri...
