Re: Old Santa Fe Galesburg to Chicago
What is the traffic like on the old ATSF east of the junction with the BN in Galesburg like? How many, and when? Also how many west of there? Lots. Like 70 a day (both east and west of Galesburg). You'll have Amtrak west of Galesburg on the Santa Fe side. Just go there and you'll see trains. Happy ...

IF it were swapping power, wouldn't it make more sense to do it at the Mega? I don't think the Stanley Secondary is used for anything other than transfer runs. Not sure. Just going by the website By the way out of curiosity, who is railohio? I found it funny because that happens to be my username o...

My question is I want to know if anyone has any photo's of trains crossing the river ? and when did traffic cease of this line ? It was the Panhandle, and Conrail stopped running around 19...

What was the power? 3054, 1601, the Gettysburg and the NW2 were parked in Defiance this morning. Lots of MOW east of there.

I'm assuming either North Baltimore couldn't take it or there was train problems.

Probably 20 west of CP 163 (the connection switch on the Indy Line) and 25-30 east of there.

Just 329. 327 is a high signal on the cantilever. Both 340 and 342 have them coming out of the siding.
