Thanks for all the info guys. I've lived in the Flint area my whole life so I know where all these places are/were.

I use a Vertex Standard (a.k.a. Yaesu) VX-150 with a Diamond RH77CA. Works great trackside, I can pick up stuff pretty well that my Radio Shack scanners don't. I also have a DPD Productions Traintenna on the car and it works pretty good too.

Actually I found an old stand in my dresser that's meant to hold up iPod's for a FM transmitter in my car that I don't have any more. Works perfectly.

Also got a new phone with a better video camera so they're a little clearer too.
